  I Want to Be a Wall was something I picked up spontaneously last year, with zero-knowledge of how much I would relate to Yuriko. This was also my first ever time reading something with an asexual main character! Yurkio is an asexual BL fangirl who just wants her OTP happy and together… same girl, same. I just want that too. While her husband, Gakurouta is a gay man who is in love with his childhood best friend, these two can’t be far from the “average” married couple. But somehow, their marriage works. I think my favorite aspect of this story is the acceptance Yurkio and Gakurouta have for each other, there is no snide comments of their sexuality, it’s just understanding. Yurkio understands Gakurouta, and Gakurouta understands Yurkio. It's as simple as that. And both try their best to be the best husband and wife in their marriage of convenience, while becoming friends.
