I Want To Be A Wall Manga Review

I Want to Be a Wall was something I picked up spontaneously last year, with zero-knowledge of how much I would relate to Yuriko. This was also my first ever time reading something with an asexual main character! Yurkio is an asexual BL fangirl who just wants her OTP happy and together… same girl, same. I just want that too. While her husband, Gakurouta is a gay man who is in love with his childhood best friend, these two can’t be far from the “average” married couple. But somehow, their marriage works. I think my favorite aspect of this story is the acceptance Yurkio and Gakurouta have for each other, there is no snide comments of their sexuality, it’s just understanding. Yurkio understands Gakurouta, and Gakurouta understands Yurkio. It's as simple as that. And both try their best to be the best husband and wife in their marriage of convenience, while becoming friends. I love the care Yurkio has for Gakurouta and his past; unrequited love and longing for someone who doesn’t know or love you back is a painful thing, and Yurkio tries to understand what her husband has gone through most of his life, and it’s touching. So many times throughout this manga, I just wanted to cry at their backstories—the things they went through!

I am most definitely going to continue this series, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good LGBTQIA+ rep or just wish to expand their horizons.

“ A moment of discomfort is nothing compared to a lifetime of unhappiness. Knowing that it led me to you, I’d make that choice again and again. ” ― Ashley Bennett, Muscles & Monsters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5  🌢🌢🌢🌢/5  Werewolf romance is by far one of my favorite monster romance… concept/ideas? I don’t know what it’s called, lol. But! I do know that werewolves are hot and I would totally do one okay? I think after being obsessed with the Twilight films sparked it, and it’s just evolved throughout the years to now reading smutty books about these creatures who have some… ahem, special equipment …  Muscles & Monsters was fantastic, smutty, hot, and gave some plus size luvin I was CRAVING okay? Atlas was such a cutie, and I loved him and his overactive tail. I knew when I saw this book on Instagram I had to share with my best friend and we both were intrigued and that led to her purchasing them for us and let me tell you that this gave me the feels besides turning my ...

“ Demons and goddess shit should be left to the Chosen One. I was just the Tired One, so I’d leave it at that .”  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5  🌢🌢🌢/5  Cinnamon, my gorgeous, relatable goddess—I love you.  This book was so so good!! Fun is the word I would use to describe this book. From page one, the plot was moving and for the life of me, I couldn’t look away. I was enthralled with Cinnamon and Fallon, eagerly waiting for them to fall into the sticky mess called love. To tell the truth, I picked this novel up because I want to read a bunch of monster romances and spooky books during October, and this was on Prime Reading (and it’s on KU) and I said “why not,” and my expectations for this book wasn’t high. But YOU GUYS!!! My socks shot straight off!!! This blew me out of the water, and I loved every.single.moment.  First off, Fallon has long hair…… πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜ŒπŸ”₯ SECOND! He’s a hot demon who protects his girl with all his mighty demon-y self.  THIRDLY!!!!!! He was givi...

King of Battle and Blood is supposed to be an adult romance fantasy that features a vampire king conquering kingdoms and a warrior human princess. However, if I’m not mistaken—if these eyes didn’t deceive me—this was just pure, okay-ish smut. Now, I don't mind smut! Hell, I read monster romance, so smut doesn't bother me! But smut with main characters who are cringe-worthy and unlikeable does. Isolde doesn’t like vampires—she hates them. Yet, she marries one. Okay. But before you think she’s doing it for her people, she’s not really. Yes, she thinks of them in a few passages here and there, but the reason she agrees to Adrian’s terms is because she wants freedom for herself. Which I get, okay? But it isn’t the innocent lives of her people that convince her. Nope! Instead, it’s based on pure selfish reasons. She doesn’t think she has enough freedom as it is, even though her father has allowed her to train with weapons, and hasn’t forced her to marry yet (she’s 26 btw), she still...
